I'm Raisa Dorzback, a Software Engineer based in Sparta, New Jersey
As a dedicated web developer, I build and manage websites and web apps for small to medium-sized businesses and not-for-profits, focusing on creating dynamic and user-friendly experiences that empower organizations to fulfill their missions. My journey into web development began when I was 10 years old, but it was during and after my time at university that I truly discovered my passion for coding and web development.
I hold a degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, and a minor in Creative Writing. I conducted three years of research at U of M--two years were focused on attention and cognitive control. In my final year, I explored therapists' methodologies for working with Queer and BIPOC clients. This academic background has equipped me with analytical and creative skills that enhance my development work.
I thrive in environments where I can experiment and build, drawing on my research experience to create intuitive, engaging, and responsive solutions aligned with my clients' visions. I am also passionate about mentoring others, helping them navigate coding concepts and fostering a supportive learning environment. Let’s create something extraordinary and impactful together!
